That’s not all. We developed an affordable, easy-to-use wireless solution that combines all the efficiency of a two-way radio with a mobile phone’s broader wheelhouse of communication. Recently, the walkie talkie has been making a comeback. Credit for this revival can mainly be attributed to a walkie talkie’s free and unlimited communication and simplicity of use. With Getnord Thor, you don't need to haul around two communication devices - the Thor is two-in-one. Make a normal mobile-to-mobile call, or simply push the PTT button, if you wish to talk to a colleague who owns any type of PMR Walkie Talkie. Walkie talkies typically have long, ugly antennas, which you’d definitely not want jutting out of your cell phone. Huge antennas are simply not modern or practical. That's why we’ve equipped the Getnord Thor with a discreet and removable antenna. When you use the phone to make regular calls or browse the internet, simply unscrew and seal the connector with the rubber plug. The following pre-set frequencies are regulated by IDA. NFC is an easy and intuitive technology that allows you to use your mobile phone for special purposes.
