Getnord Active Track is a system based on Android Smartphone technologies for logging the rounds of employees in a variety of situations, for example: security guards patrolling property, technicians monitoring climate-controlled environments, and correctional officers checking prisoner living areas. It helps to ensure that the employee makes his or her appointed rounds at the correct intervals and can offer a record for legal or insurance reasons.
Getnord Active Track can monitor the activities of patrol guards in real time, leaving little room for disobedience or straying from actual duty. Each guard or personnel member will be given a tool - i.e a smartphone installed with a Patrol App - and he must perform his round by tapping on the NFC tags or QR labels scattered along the assigned route. During a guard's patrol duty he can receive additional tasks from the control room; send notes and photos to report any incidences he observes in real time; and, in case of emergency, the mobile App is equipped with an SOS feature.
